Eligibility Criteria:
Master of Design (M.Des):
Candidates must have passed undergraduate degree from a university recognized by law of India or the candidate must hold UG Diploma from NID/NIFT only.

Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M):
Candidates must have passed undergraduate degree from a university recognized by law of India or UG Diploma of minimum 3 years from NID/NIFT only.

Master of Fashion Technology (M.FTech):
Candidates must have passed B.F.Tech from NIFT or B.E./B.Tech from any university recognized by law of India.

Important Dates:
NIFT 2016 Entrance Examination Date:- UG & PG Programmes - 14th February, 2016
Admit Card (Online only) - 21st January 2016 (1300 Hrs)
Situation Test / Group Discussion / Interview - April – May 2016
Declaration of Final Result (Online) - End of May / June 2016
Counselling - June 2016 onwards

GENERAL ABILITY TEST (GAT) FOR BACHELOR OF DESIGN (B.DES.) AND MASTER OF DESIGN (M.DES.):
This test will comprise of various sections as given below:

1) Quantitative Ability
2) Communication Ability
3) English Comprehension
4) Analytical Ability
5) General Knowledge and Current Affairs

The number of questions may vary in each section year to year.
