Can you tell me about the eligibility requirements for admission in MBA (Pharm) Program offered by National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research?

The eligibility requirements for admission in MBA (Pharm) Program offered by National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research are as follows:

The credit requirement for Master of Business Administration (Pharm) degree is a minimum of 90 valid credits including a minimum of 75 credits of course work and balance credits of project work.
The minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) requirement for the award of the degree shall be 6.00. If CGPA is more than 5.50 but below 6.00 in any semester, one may be permitted to continue in the program subject to fulfilment of ordinance 18.
If CGPA is below 5.50 in any semester, one shall be permitted to improve CGPA by repeating to a maximum of 2 theory courses irrespective of grade earned.
If one after availing the maximum number of repeat exams as per Ordinance 18 above, fails to clear the courses or fails to secure minimum CGPA shall have to discontinue the programme.
The minimum period for completion of the Masters Programme shall be 3 years from the date of joining the Programme.

PM-501 Fundamentals of Management (3 credits)

Management; The human Behaviour School; The social system school; Decision theory school; The mathematical and quantitative school; The system school;
2. The contingency theory of Management; Contemporary Management thinkers; Contemporary organizational theories.
3. Organizations and the need for management: Why study organisations and management.
Efficiency and effectiveness, management, process organisational environments.
4. Social responsibility and ethics.
5. Planning : Nature and process, importance, types of plans, strategy, policies, objectives,
planning premises, principles of planning, decision making, making planning effective.
6. Organising : Process of organising principles, organizational design and organizational structure; Types of organisational structures.
7. Downsizing distribution of authority; Decentralisation, centralisation and making organisations.
8. Effective Communications - process, barriers and breakdowns in communications, effective communications.
9. Controlling : The system and process of controlling. Control techniques, control of overall
performance. Ensuring effective controlling.
