The Doctoral Programmes at Nirma University are being run under the Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research in the under mentioned institutes:

Institute of Management offers the Phd In Management program.

Phd In Management program

Eligibility:

A Masters degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Masters Degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade B in the UGC 7 Point Scale.

Candidates appearing in final examination can also apply

Selection Process:

The admission selection process consists of two stages :

Entrance Test:

The applicants are required to appear in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University.

However the candidates who are UGC NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/GATE/GPAT/Teacher Fellowship/M.Phil qualified are exempted from the Admission Test.

The Entrance Test will have Two Sections as given below:

Research Methodology - 50% Wieghtage

General Management - 50% Weightage

Each Section will carry 30 Questions

Duration of the Test will be one hour.

The Test will be objective type with multiple choice questions.

Personal Interview:

The candidates obtaining a minimum of 50% marks in the Entrance Test will qualify for the Personal Interview.

The final selection for admission would be based on the candidates performance in the Entrance Test and Personal Interview.
