I want to get admission in LLM in National Law University Delhi so can you tell me the eligibility criteria for admission?

National Law University Delhi offers LLM program of duration 1 years.

LL.M. Programme

Eligibility -

LL.B. or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks on aggregate (50% in case of reserved categories, i.e. SC/ST/Persons with Disability).

Admission of foreign nationals shall be made on the basis of:

Academic record of LL.B. or equivalent degree recognized by the UGC/ Association of Indian Universities with not less than 55% marks or the equivalent grade.

Assessment of necessary communication skills in written and spoken English and performance at the interview in terms of aptitude and capacity

Admission Procedure:

The admission shall be done through an All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) conducted every year by the University.

Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination can appear for the Entrance Test subject to a condition that they produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission.

The total number of seats is 20 with the following reservations:
General 75%
Scheduled Caste 15%
Scheduled Tribe 7.50%
Persons with Disability 2.50%

Fee Structure-

Tuition Fee Rs. 65,000/- p.a for Indian Nationals (to be paid in two equal installments at the beginning of each semester) / US $ 2000 per annum or its equivalent in INR for foreign nationals

Rs. 3,000/- p.a. (to be paid in two equal installments)

Admission Fee Rs. 1,000/- (one time payment)
Examination Fee Rs. 200 per course
Library Fee Rs. 3,000/- p.a.
Internet Fee Rs. 8,000/- p.a.
Electricity Charges Rs. 12,000/- p.a
Sports and Games Facilities Fee Rs. 3,000/- p.a.
Journals Fee Rs. 2,000/- p.a.
Dissertation Fee Rs. 1,000/-
Re-registration Fee Rs. 5,000/- per course
Repeat / Improvement Examination Fee Rs. 500/- per course
Room Rent Rs. 18,000/- p.a
Mess Advance Rs. 20,000/- (@ Rs. 2,000/- p.m. for 10 months)
Library Deposit Rs. 3,000/-
Hostel Deposit Rs. 5,000/- (Rs. 2,000/-for SC/ST candidates)
Mess Deposit Rs. 3,000/-

The deserving candidates would be provided Merit Scholarships by the University based on Merit and interview.

Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability.
