The PG Medical Diploma course offered by Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University in Mangalore is approved by the Medical Council of India and is offered in following streams:
Anaesthesiology (DA), Child Health (DCH), Clinical Pathology (DCP), Ophthalmology (DO), Orthopaedics (D Ortho), Otorhinolaryngology (DLO) Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy (DDVL) and Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DGO).

Eligibility

Citizenship
Indian nationals can apply under the General/In-service Category.
Foreign nationals or NRI or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
To qualify under the NRI Category one must be an NRI or supported by either Parents or Brothers or Sisters or Spouse having an NRI status.
One supported by cousins, uncles, aunts, brothers / sisters-in-law or any other person will not be accepted.

Qualification
Pass in MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India.

Internship
One completing the compulsory rotating internship on or before admission process ends is eligible.


Admissions
General/In-service:
Admission is done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET).

Foreign/ NRI Category:
Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Government Category:
Few medical seats in KMC, Manipal & Mangalore are reserved for candidates selected by the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Karnataka, Bangalore.

Candidates can apply either under General/In-service or Foreign/NRI Category. Those submitting applications under both General and Foreign/NRI categories are considered only under the General Category. Change of category at a later stage will not be entertained under any circumstances
