Osmania University - Hyderabad conducts B.Ed (distance) entrance test for admission in distance education BEd Course

Important Dates:
Last date for submitting the application is 10th January 2014
Tentative date of entrance test: 02nd Feb 2014

Eligibility Criteria:

-You should be teachers with a Bachelor’s Degree serving in a recognized Primary/Elementary/Secondary/Sr. Secondary school and having minimum two years experience of school teaching at any of the above level
- You should be working in schools located in the territorial jurisdiction assigned to it by the University

Admission Procedure:
Admission shall be done on the basis of the rank obtained in the B.Ed. (distance mode) entrance test

The percentage of candidates to be admitted in each methodology (subject) shall not exceed the limit prescribed by the University/Govt from time to time

Scheme of B.Ed. Entrance Test:

The common entrance test will be of objective type with 100 multiple choice questions and of 90 minutes duration

Part-A

General English: 20 marks

Part -B

General Knowledge: 10 marks
Teaching aptitude: 10marks
(Part-A and Part-B is common for all the candidates irrespective of Methodology)

Part -C

Methodology:

Mathematics: 60 marks
Physical Sciences: 60 marks (Physics: 30 marks & Chemistry: 30 marks)
Biological Sciences: 60 marks (Botany: 30 marks & Zoology: 30 marks)
Social Studies: 60 marks (Geography: 20 marks, History: 20 marks, Civics: 10 marks & Economics: 10 marks)
Special English: 60 marks
