PET Exam for PhD Pune university

Hi buddy would you plz give me info regarding to Pune university PET Exam for PhD admission , as I have completed by PG and want to do further study from there ??

University of Pune was established in 1948 under the Poona University Act

As you asking here I am telling info regarding to Pune university PET Exam for PhD admission:

Eligibility Criteria:-
Post Graduate Degree(Master Degree) Examination with at least 50% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average(GPA).

Post-Graduate Degree (Master Degree) Examination Law Faculty with at least 55%.

5% relaxation for reserve category students of Maharashtra State only.

Pune University Ph.D Entrance Test (PET) Pattern:-

Paper-I consists of 3 Parts

a) Logical Reasoning.
b) Numerical Ability.
c) Reasoning and Language Aptitude.

Total Marks: 100

Total Questions: 100

All questions with multiple choices, each correct answer carries 1 Mark. No negative marking system.

Duration & Timing of Entrance Exam: 2 Hours (11.00 AM to 1.00 PM).


Standard of passing for Paper-I:

Category - Minimum marks required

a)General:- 50% marks
b) Reserved: 45% marks


Candidates qualified in Paper–I are eligible to appear for Paper -II only.

Paper-II : (Subject Specific Test)

Date of Examination: Date will be declared by concerned University Departments

Paper- II consists of two Parts

Multiple Choice Questions: 20 Marks
Theoretical / Descriptive Questions: 80 Marks

Total: 100 Marks

Standard of Passing for Paper- II

Category - Minimum marks required

General: 50% marks
Reserved: 45% marks.
