Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test AP PGECET is a AP State Level Common Entrance Test conducted by JNTU, Kakinada on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission into Regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate)

AP PGECET Eligibility Criteria:

B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in the respective disciplines with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case candidate belonging to reserved category)

Candidates who have completed their masters like M.Sc have to check the eligibility criteria specified by the individual university to check their eligibility.

Candidates must also be from Andhra Pradesh and must meet the domicile guidelines

Candidates must be Indian Nationals.

Candidates who have valid GATE scores are exempt from the entrance exam and have to apply separately.

Exam Pattern

The examination consists of 120 multiple choice questions.

The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours, and the exam will be conducted in 2 shifts: forenoon and afternoon.

For each right answer, one mark will be awarded and the cutoff mark in the test will be 25%.

The language of the question paper will be English only.

AP PGECET Application Procedure:

Fees: Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ST candidates)

Separate fees to be paid for each course

Payment Mode: Candidates may pay in cash at the AP Online or MeeSeva Center or online through Debit/Credit Cards.
