I have decided to take admission in the University of the Punjab (Quaid-e-Azam Campus) want to know the admission process. Will you please provide me the admission form of this University and also provide me lists of courses available in this campus?

Department of English Language & Literature of University of the Punjab fosters to develop and refine critical thinking and writing skills for analysing individual texts from different genres and to promote a study and an understanding of societies, cultures, traditions and history through literary texts from across the globe.

Admission Criteria

Eligibility & Distribution of Seats:

A. 18 seats will be offered to those who passed the B.A. Examination with English Literature.
1. First class total and 1st class in English (Lang) & English (Lit).
2. Second class total and 1st class in both English (Lang)& English (Lit).
3. First class total and 1st class in any one English (Lang) or English (Lit).
4. Second class total and 1st class in one English (Lang)or English(Lit).
5. First class total and 2nd class in each English (Lang)& English (Lit).
6. Second class total and 2nd class in each English (Lang)& English (Lit).
7. First class or 2nd class total and 2nd class in one of the two English (Lang) or English (Lit).

B. 17 seats will be offered to those candidates who passed B.A. Examination with at least 2nd division marks in the subject English Language in the following order:
1. First class total and 1st class in English (Lang).
2. Second class total and 1st class in English (Lang).
3. First class total and 2nd class in English (Lang).
4. Second class total and 2nd class in English(Lang)
