The Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF) Scheme for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes is formulated and funded by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

Eligibility

candidate has to fulfil the following conditions to be eligible for award of this fellowship:-

1). The candidate should belong to SC/ST and should have passed the Passed the Post Graduate Examination.
2). The Candidate must be registered for M.Phil./Ph.D.
3). Transgender candidates are eligible to apply under the scheme. The reservation shall be followed as per government of India norms.


Scholarship Amount

Fellowship in Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences
@Rs.25000/-p.m. for initial two years
@Rs.28000/-p.m. for remaining tenure

Contingency A
'@Rs.10000/-p.a. for initial two years
@Rs.20500/-p.a. for remaining tenure

Contingency B
@Rs.12000/-p.a. for initial two years
@Rs.25000/-p.a. for remaining tenure
