SBI Express Remit US

I am working in US since 2008. I have to transfer my sum to family in India. For fast transfer I want to know the remit service of SBI bank. Would you please help me by providing necessary information about this service?

SBI provides remittance services to the NRIs, PIOs and Foreign subjects settled in several parts of the world. These remittance services are offered under the “SBI Express”.
Remittances from USA to India are done through Automated Clearing House (ACH) mechanism.

To use this service, you have to do one-time online registration on its remittance portal with your bank account details and money can be transferred to beneficiary accounts in India.

With the help of the service you can send minimum $50 maximum $10000 A (1000 for non-SBI accounts).
