The Indira Gandhi National Open University is offering B.Ed special program from its various centres.

The B.Ed. Special Education in the area of Hearing Impairment, Mental Retardation and Visual Impairment is a collaborative programme of IGNOU and Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Study centres for Special B.Ed Course in Indira Gandhi National Open University:



The B.Ed. Special Education aims to develop professionals for special and inclusive education within abroad perspective of education.

The programme intends to educate and train the aspirants to become agents of change as teaching-professionals by imbibing the required knowledge, skills and positive attitude.

The education and training will enable them to seek out and tap the talents in the children with disability.

Duration of the Programme: 2 years

Eligibility:
Candidates should have a Bachelors Degree from any UGC recognized University. Weightage will be given to the candidates fulfilling any one of the following conditions:

Parent of a child with disability 10 marks
Person with disability 10 marks
Possess RCI Registration Certificate 10 marks

Intake : 40 seats in each study center.

Admission Procedure : Through Entrance Test by IGNOU.
