Commission will make All India Open Examination recruitment to the posts of Scientific Assistant In The Indian Meteorological Department.

The selection process will comprise of a Written Examination followed by Interview.

Minimum essential educational qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Science (with Physics as one of the subject)/Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Applications or Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution/University or equivalent.

Staff Selection Commission Pay Scale

Those aspirants will be appointed on the available posts they will get the salary of Rs. 42000 with GP of Rs. 4600/-.
This is a one month salary only for the selected candidates given by the Indian Government.
