Can you tell me about the eligibility conditions required for apply for Clerk recruiting Exam of SBI or State Bank of India?

The SBI or State Bank of India Clerk eligibility criteria contains the following conditions. So, applying candidates must fulfill mentioned details to appear in the SBI Clerk Examination:


Nationality:
Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification:
For Junior Associate: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

For Junior Agricultural Associate: Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognized university/ Institute.


Age Limit:
Candidate’s age must be between 20 years and 28 years

Age Relaxation:

SC/ ST
5 years

Other Backward Classes (OBC)
3 years

PWD (Gen)
10 years

PWD (SC/ ST)
15 years

PWD (OBC)
13 Years

Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989
5 years

Ex-Servicemen/ Disabled Ex-Servicemen
Actual person of service rendered in defence services + 3 years (8 years for disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ ST subject to max. age of 50 years)

Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried
9 years (subject to maximum age limit of 35 years for General and 38 years for OBC & 40 years for SC/ST candidates.


Others
• According to the norms of SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria, one must be
able to write and speak English.

• One must be aware of local language of the state one is applying from

• The date of passing the eligibility exam is considered as on the date
mentioned on the mark sheet/ provisional certificate issued by the University
/ Institute. If the result of a particular exam is posted on the website of the
University / Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the
University / Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on
the website is taken as the date of passing.

• Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have acquired the Indian Army Special
Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy/Air Force, on
completing the course minimum 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the
Union are also eligible.
