Strategy For IES Preparation

Hi I want to prepare for the IES exam so can you please tell me some strategy so I can prepare well and score good in the exam ???

Well in my opinion 6 month of serious & smart study is good enough to clear IES.

Strategy to be followed for 6 months

Make a concrete plan.

Spend at least two weeks analyzing previous years question papers, type of question being asked, hotspots, syllabus, cutoff marks in all stages & others parameters.

You have to be aware of how much to score to get a rank & how to score that in the worst case scenario.

Ask many successful people& use their guidance & experiences

Solve 10 year qsn of both Paper-I & paper-II .

Try to maximize as much as u can in Paper-I.(prepare Paper-I thoroughly)

You have to write very precisely & to thepoint, otherwise 3hrs won’t be enough.

Make good diagrams whenever needed. (no need ofusing color pens)

Write first two questions (out of five) very well, it will lead a good impression for the examiner.

Make short notes such that can revise entire syllabus within two days.

GAT paper-100

Objective I-140 (min100 qsn attempt out of 120 & 88 qsn correct & 12 qsn wrong to score 140)

Objective II-140

Interview-120 (I hadconfidence that I will obtain 120 in interview even if it goes wrong)

Totaling of four: 500

So even get 100(very easy to score) in each conI solved 10 year qsn of both Paper-I & paper-II .

Try to maximize as much as u can in Paper-I.(prepare Paper-I thoroughly)
