Do you have important dates for this year SVNIT's Annual Sports Meet 2015? I missed last year Meet. So please provide phone number of Sport Department of SVNIT as soon as possible. Can you provide images and videos of last year’s Annual Sports Meet of this campus?

The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology SVNIT, is an engineering institute of higher education established by the Parliament of India in 1961.

The Outdoor Games Facilities:-

Basketball (2 Courts with flood lights)
Cricket & Football (Optional flood lights available
Handball (Optional flood lights available)
Kabaddi & Kho-kho
Volleyball (2 courts with flood lights)
Tennis (2 International standard courts with class-3 lights and modern seating arrangement)
400 mt Athletic Track

The Indoor Games Complex (IGC) provides the following facilities-

Badminton (2 Air conditioned International standard synthetic courts)
Chess
Caroms
Table Tennis
Ultra Modern Gym (more than 15 Single Stations, Best amongst all NITs)

Activities of the Section include :

Encouraging student participation in Inter-Year, Inter- Department, Inter University, Inter-NIT and other open tournaments in the country

Organizing Inter-Year & Inter-Department tournaments, Inter University, Inter-NIT tournaments, coaching camps and open tournaments in various sports and games.

Organizing tournaments for Teaching and Non-Teaching staff.

Organize and Manage MMNCT night Cricket Tournament.

Organize and Manage GMNVBT night Volleyball Tournament.

Representation in National & International Games :

Many students have represented institute at All India Sports Tournament and won the prizes.

One of the students has represented India in Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.

Students also won many prizes in various national and international tournaments.
