The Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing & Development Corporation (TAHDCO) offers Self Employment Programme for Youth (SEPY) for SC Category.

Here I am providing following information related to this Loan Scheme:

SUBSIDY:
30% of the project cost or Rs.2.25 lakhs whichever is lower.
The subsidy will be a Front End Subsidy

ELIGIBILITY:
Applicant should belong to Scheduled Caste (SC).
Applicant should have prior experience in the trade applied.
Applicant should posses eligibility certificate issued by recognized institutions.
Annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs.1.00 lakh
Applicant and their family members should not have availed any subsidy so far.
Applicant should be in the age group of 18 -45.

CONDITIONS:
Applicants can select the trade themselves.
The applicant will carry out the business in the district where subsidy is sanctioned.
The assets created under the scheme will be registered only in the name of the applicant.
