Hii Sir, I wants to give the TANCET Entrance Examination for the ME Course Will you please provide me the Examination Pattern of the TANCET Entrance Examination for the ME Course ?

Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test exam is a common assessment conducted for admission to post graduate Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) course and also to post graduate programmes of Engineering (M.E), Technology (M.Tech), Architecture (M.Arch) and Planning (M.Plan) in colleges of Tamilnadu


As you wants to give the TANCET Examination for ME Course the details of the Entrance Examination is As Follow


Eligibility :

A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained at least 50 % (45 % in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.

(i) B.E / B.Tech. / B.Arch. degree programme.
(or)
(ii) B.Pharm. / B.Sc (Agri. / Forestry / Horticulture / Fishery) degree programme.
(or)
(iii) Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed.
(or)
(iv) M.Sc. (5 years) Integrated Degree Programme.
(or)
(v) B.Sc. 3 years (Computer Science/ Information Technology) and M.Sc. 2 years (Computer Science / Information Technology)

(vi) MCA (3 years) after 10+2+3 years bachelor’s degree.
(or)
(vii) MCA Lateral Entry (2 years) after 10+2+3 years degree in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science / Information Technology)

2. (i) 10+2+AMIE*
(or)
(ii) 10+3 years diploma (award ed by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE*.


Paper Pattern:

The Question Paper of the ME/M.Tech/M.Plan/M.Arch course is divided into two parts namely-

Part I: Engineering Mathematics -30 questions (30 marks)

Part II: Basic Engineering & Sciences- 45 questions (30 marks)

Part III: this part is not for the M.Tech/M.E./M.Plan/M.Arch course admissions- 40/45 questions (40 marks)
