Hii sir, I wants to know the Evaluation Criteria or the passing Marks for the Undergraduate Course of the Tamil Nadu University ?

The Tamil Nadu Open University was established by an Act (No.27 of 2002) of the Legislative Assembly of the Government of Tamil Nadu to provides Studies for the
especially destitute, physically challenged, working men and women, economically weaker sections of the society


Evaluation Criteria for the Bachelor Degree Courses

To complete each Course, the learner is required to secure a minimum of 35% (26 marks out of 75) in Term-End Examination and overall 40% in both Term-End Examination and Continuous Assessment taken together.

A candidate who secures 40% and above but b e lo w 5 0 % in aggregate shall be placed in Third Class. A candidate who secures 50% and above but below 60% in aggregate shall be placed in Second Class.

Those securing 60% and above but below 75% in aggregate shall be placed in First Class. Those securing 75% but below 90% in aggregate shall be placed in First Class with Distinction.

Those securing 90% and above in aggregate shall be placed in First Class with Exemplary Performance.
