My brother wants to join Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC). Someone suggested him to apply for TNPSC Examination to join the College. So will you please give instructions to join Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC)?

The Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) is located in Dehradun.

The College was established in 1922.

As you are looking for admission in this college, you should follow these instructions:

Admission Procedure:
Approx 25 Cadets are admitted every six-month.

Candidates should not be less than 111/2 years of age or must not have attained the age of 13 years on 01 (Jan) and 01 (July) of the term they join.

Admissions are made to Class VIII only.

The Candidate must be studying in Class VII or passed class VII from a recognized school at the time of joining.

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in an All India Entrance Examination held twice a year.

Selection Procedure:
Written Exam:
English (125 marks),
Mathematics (200 marks)
General Knowledge (75 marks),
Successful candidates are called for Viva - Voce test (50 marks).

Application Fee:
Rs 550/- for general Candidates Rs 505/- for ST/SC Cadidates

Note: There is no direct admission or general admission will be done through TNPSC Examination.

The Entrance Exam is conducted separately by Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC).
