Re: Tuck MBA Scholarships
The details about Tuck MBA scholarships and other financial aid provided to the students are as follows: Scholarships and Fellowships Tuck scholarship awards are made possible through the generosity of Tuck alumni, corporations, and nonprofit foundations. Recipients are generally notified at the time of their offer of admission. Students who do not receive scholarships in their first year should not expect to receive a scholarship in their second year. Need- and Merit-Based Scholarships Tuck offers scholarships to U.S., permanent residents and international students based on a combination of need and merit. Tuck scholarships range anywhere from $5,000 to full tuition. There is no separate application process for Tuck scholarships. Tuck’s admissions and financial aid offices will review the application materials submitted by candidates for admission. In assessing merit, Tuck considers a variety of factors, including exceptional academic performance, leadership, professional accomplishments, service, and ability to contribute to the diversity of the Tuck community. Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellowship Tuck is a proud member of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management. Tuck awards fellowships to students selected via the Consortium. Forté Foundation Tuck is a proud member of the Forté Foundation, a consortium of educational institutions, businesses, and nonprofit groups formed to increase the number of women business leaders and to support their careers through events, networking, and other career resources. Each year the Tuck Admissions Committee selects several exceptional women candidates as Forté Fellows who receive a Tuck scholarship in addition to the other Forté Fellow benefits as outlined on their website. Applicants should email Tuck.Financial.Aid@dartmouth.edu to request consideration for a Forté Fellowship. Center for Business & Society Working in close partnership with the Tuck Career Development Office, the Center for Business & Society supports students interested in careers with a social and environmental focus. Students can gain personal direction and experience as preparation, whether they wish to secure a position in a socially responsible company, work for a foundation, or apply business knowledge to the public or nonprofit sectors. Two programs administered by the Center provide financial support to students. The Tuck Nonprofit and Public Sector Internship Fund (Tuck GIVES) provides financial support to students in a qualified nonprofit or public sector summer internships. Post-9/11 GI Bill® and Yellow Ribbon Program The Post-9/11 GI Bill gives financial support for education to individuals with at least 90 days of collective service on or after September 11, 2001, or individuals discharged with a service-related disability after 30 days. The Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP) is a stipulation of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. The program allows institutions to go into a intentional agreement with the VA to fund tuition and fee expenses that exceed the annual VA cap of $21,084.89 at private institutions for individuals entitled for the 100% payment tier. The institution can contribute up to 50% of those expenses and VA will match the same amount as the institution.
