The vision of Soweto Science Centre (SCC) is that of a South Africa that creates and consolidates a culture of science in its communities.

The SCC allows it to utilise technology as an engine of industrial and social transformation while being conscience of science.

It is a stimulating user facility that aims to be the centre of excellence in Mathematics and Science for school learners from Soweto and the surrounding regions.

Vision and Mission:
To create dynamic educational/academic programmes

To foster partnerships with government, schools, parents and industry/private sector

To provide the best instructors and teaching assistants,

To provide career guidance to the learners/educators and parents

To conduct school outreach programmes with our mobile unit, complimenting the school science syllabi,

To organize promotional activities to bring science closer to the people of Soweto and the surrounding regions.
