The University of Mysore is offers Doctorate of Philosophy in a wide range of subjects. Various departments under the University of Mysore are offered at Mysore, Bangalore.

Selection of candidates for admission to Mysore University Ph.D. is based on entrance test and interview conducted by the university.

Eligibility:-

Candidates who have secured atleast 55% of aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/Cat-1/Physicaly Challenged candidates) or equivalent grade under grading system, in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from the recognised Universities/Institutions.

There is no upper age limit for applying for the Ph.D entrance test.

Application fee per paper:-

General merit candidates: Rs.2000/-
SC/ST/Cat-1 cadidates: Rs.750/-

Pattern:-

One question paper per subject with one hundred questions (100) with four choices out of which one is the correct answer
Maximum marks shall be 100 (one hundred) and the time available for answering questions shall be 2 (two) hours only.
