The U.G.C. conducts the National Educational Test (N.E.T.). U.G.C. authorized the State Governments to conduct the State Eligibility Test (SET) for lectureship.

Eligibility Criteria:
--Candidates must have Master's Degree or P.G. Diploma from an institution recognized by U.G.C.
--For the SET exam there is no upper age limit.

Syllabus: Here I am providing syllabus of English for SET exam.

Important dates:
Online Submission Starts from: In the first week of December month
Last Date of Online Submission: In the last week of December month
Last date of hardcopy submission: In the first week of January month
Exam Date: In the middle of February month
