UPCAT Oblation Scholarship

Can you give application form for UPCAT Oblation Scholarship? My sister wants to get information about this scholarship, so please tell me what is minimum educational qualification required to apply for UPCAT Oblation Scholarship? What is amount given to students who are eligible?

The U.P. Oblation scholarship is generally awarded to the best UPCAT (University of the Philippines College Admission Test) qualifiers out there. But these eligible students still need to meet the other requirements of their chosen course.

This scholarship only applies to the Diliman campus of the University of the Philippines. This scholarship will only be granted to fifty fortunate students per school year.

Academic Requirements
To maintain the scholarship:

One must carry the normal load prescribed for his/her degree program every semester;

One must pass all academic subjects enrolled in, without any grade of Dropped or Incomplete and

One earns a weighted average of at least 2.0 in the previous semester.

In the case of an Intarmed student, however, computation of grades for year levels III and IV will be based on grades for the whole year. The retention grade of 2.0 remains.

Duration of the Award:

The normal length of time for the degree course program chosen (computed from time of first enrolment in UP), except in the case of students in the Intarmed Program who shall enjoy the benefits during the first four years of the Program only. At the end of 4 years, these students shall have completed the equivalent of a bachelors degree.

An Oblation scholar who intends to enrol in the LLB program may enjoy the scholarship only for the pre-law baccalaureate degree.
