Can you tell me about admission policy for Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program offered by Business School of University of Queensland?

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is ideal for those who already have a degree, several years of work and management experience and are ready to gain a promotion, establish their own business or make the transition to a different organisation or industry.

It is designed for ambitious professionals ready to advance their career, the program aims to create global business leaders of the future.

The MBA program will test initiative, inspire resourcefulness, challenge creativity and demand your intellectual and emotional intelligence. The program can be undertaken in three different study options to suit your lifestyle.

Admissions Information
Applicants for MBA program must have four years full-time work experience post-graduation including at least 2 of the 4 years in a dedicated management role as well as:

Bachelor degree or equivalent with a GPA of at least 4.50 on a 7-point scale
OR Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from UQ or equivalent with a GPA of at least 4.50 on a 7-point scale
International applicants must complete the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) with a minimum score of 550 and achieve at least 6.5 overall in the IELTS test (or equivalent test)
One without a completed degree can apply on the basis of significant work and management experience.

One without the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor degree is able to enter via the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration as long as one has at least 7 years full-time work experience with at least 3 of those 7 years in a dedicated supervisory/management role.

Upon successful completion of the first four MBA courses and meeting the GPA entry requirements, students articulate into the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.

Successful completion of the next 4 MBA courses and meeting the GPA entry requirements allows for entry into the MBA program to complete the final 4 courses.
