I have decided to apply for the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) JEXPO Exam and searching for exam details. Can you tell what the eligibility and exam pattern so that I can prepare well for exam also provide West Bengal Polytechnic JEXPO Exam dates?

JEXPO 2016 officially known as Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics admission is a state level entrance exam conducted by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE)

This exam is conducted for granting admission into three years Diploma in Engineering programmes in different Government Polytechnics situated across West Bengal.

Eligibility criteria for JEXPO

Candidates must be Indian citizen

Candidate age should not be exceeded than 21 years at the time of admission. There will be three years relaxation in upper age for SC/ST category.

You must have done Matriculation or 10th with Physical Science, Mathematics, & English from Central or State Board recognized by Government.

Exam pattern

JEXPO will comprise two question papers with a total of 200 marks each with 120 minutes of duration.

Paper 1 will contains questions from Mathematics and paper (2) will be include questions from Physics and chemistry

Important dates: This year the dates were closed you can apply for the same next year.

Official Notification will be released on- 8th February, 2016

Sale of application form from the polytechnics begin: 15th February, 2016

Sale of application form from the polytechnics ends: 21st March, 2016

End date for submit the application form (online & offline): 31st March, 2016

JEXPO 2016 exam date: 23rd May, 2016

Merit list will be released: 5th June, 2016
