Assam Teacher Eligibility Test 2016 exam is conducted by Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan, Assam for the selection of 1618 graduate teachers for Hindi and Sanskrit subjects in Secondary School Education of the state of Assam.

Assam TET 2016 exam was conducted in the April 2016.

Closing date of Submission of online Application form: 15th February 2016

Last date to submission of application fee at Bank: 20th February 2016

Hindi Teacher: 1031 posts
Sanskrit Teacher: 587 posts

Eligibility Criteria-

For Hindi Teacher:

Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks having degree or B.A with Hindi subject with 50% marks and B. Ed. /B.T degree from a recognized Institutions/University.

For Sanskrit Teacher:

Shastri with 50% marks having degree or B.A with Sanskrit with 50% marks and B.Ed /B.T degree from any recognized Institutions/University.

Age Limit:

Candidates age should not exceed 38 years

Age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.
