When is SSC CGL Exam

Common Graduation Level (CGL) 2016 Tier-I Exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission or SSC was scheduled on 13th and 14th Aug, 2016


Educational Qualification
Candidate must have done graduation in any stream from a recognized university.


Age Limit:
Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 27 years old as on 1st January 2016.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rule.


Application Fee:
General and OBC candidates have to pay 100/- as registration fee.
SC, ST, PWD and women do not need to pay any fee.
Payment can be done via both online mode offline modes.


Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The duration of Stage I examination is 2 hours (2 hours & 40 minutes for visually handicapped candidates) and total marks are 200.

Stage I examination contains only one paper that will be common for all categories of posts and will be schedules in one session only.

There be a penalty of 0/25 marks for every wrong answer.

The question paper will be in bilingual type i.e both in Hindi and English (except the section of English)


Selection Process-
Candidates will be selected on the basis of total marks got in written examination and performance in personal interview.
