‘Yoga Instructors’ course (YIC) is a one month course offered by Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (SVYASA).

‘Yoga Instructors’ course (YIC):

Admission Eligibility:
Applicants should have passed 12th std (IInd PUC/ +2/12 years of education) with basic knowledge of English language.

Course fee structure:
Yoga Instructors course fee for Indians :
Rs. 18,000 (Indian Rupees)

For foreigners
$ 900 US Dollars. (Fee Includes simple food, accommodation and course materials.)

Dress code and discipline:
During practice session:
For Gents :
Blue colour track suit, White T-shirt.

For Ladies
Blue colour salver kameez.

Apart from practical session general decent dress code can be used.

Course Curriculum

Theory:
Introduction to yoga and its’ streams (2 credits)
Life and Message of Spiritual Masters and Applications of Yoga (2 credits)

Practical:
Asanas & Kriyas (2 credits)
Pranayama & Meditations (2 credits)
Teaching techniques & Karma yoga (2 credits)
Yogic games / Happy assembly and report (2 credits)

Teaching Methodology:
Power point presentation
Learning and applying eight steps method to teach
Demonstration
Group discussion
Group Practice
Library facility to all
Report & Worksheet writing and presentation of it
One to one discussion
Lectures
Review classes
