GMAT Score Percentile

GMAT scores are used to help schools determine how well an applicant will do academically in a business or management program. The value of a GMAT score is determined by the percentile ranking assigned to that score. The percentile ranking expresses the percentage of the test-taking population that receive scores below a particular score. Therefore, the higher the percentile ranking, the more competitive the score The following table shows all 61 of the possible GMAT total scaled scores and the percentile rankings assigned to each of them. The combination of your quantitative and verbal scores determines your scaled score, which is given on a scale of 200-800 and is not influenced by the AWA score.
