Introduction
Institute of Rural Management Anand was instituted in 1979 at Anand. Institute of Rural Management is managed by a General Body which consists of co-operative and developmental organizations as institutional members. The General Body is represented by the Board of Governors. Institute of Rural Management authorization to professionalize management of rural producer’s administrations and produce an organic structure of ability in the area of rural management. In a short span IRMA has come to be recognised as a premier centre of teaching and research in rural management and has successfully produced a new field of rural management which is being reproduced by many other institutes.
