Indian Maritime Doctrine 2011
To help and determine the nation’s thinking, the Navy released its “Indian Maritime Doctrine” and survived available to the public in June 2004.
The Head of Naval Staff in the prolusion has stated, “If we are to satisfy our maritime destiny, all of us – the Government, the armed forces, the officialdoms, the public and the media – must have a maritime vision and a complete realizing of the maritime concepts outlined in this doctrine”.
The Indian Navy enters the new millenary as a professional focused and committed force, deeply conscious of its responsibilities and roles.
