The K.G.R.L College was inaugurated on 20 th August , 1975 by Sri M.R. Appa Rao , Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University and Sri M.V. Krishna Rao , Education Minister of Government of Andhra Pradesh . K.G.R.L. College is premier institution in the Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh . K.G.R.L. College is located in Bhimavaram, a place hailed as ‘ Second Bardoli’ by Mahatma Gandhi , a place where several thousands of Freedom Fighters participated in the ‘ Salt Satyagraha ‘ launched by Mahatma in the year 1930.
