K.I.T.S, Ramtek is affiliated to the R.T.M. Nagpur University and is being developed as per the norms of the All India Council of Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E), Government of India. The new campus is about 3 kms from Ramtek and is located on Ramtek-Mouda road. Initially, the Institute was temporarily housed in Samarth Junior College in the Ramtek town with the co-operation of the management of Sri Samarth Sikshan Mandal. Later, it was shifted to its present own premises sprawling over 19.8 hectares (50 acres), near the Ramtek Railway Station. The institute established a good infrastructure of computing facilities with 544 computer terminals and 9 servers.
