Mishra Dhatu Nigam limited (MIDHANI) successfully brought about hybridization of home-grown technologies with production scale knowledge acquired from Western and East-Bloc sources, contributing to creating a rich knowledge-base. Advanced aerospace technologies were employed as a spin-off to develop and manufacture a broad range of low-cost Titanium Biomedical Implants meeting global standards and supplied to esteemed hospitals in the country. MIDHANI is one of the few metallurgical plants of its kind in the world, planned to manufacture a broad range of special metals and alloys using integrated and extremely flexible manufacturing systems. MIDHANI Company has gone beyond the scope of the original product-mix and the collaborations and developed over 100 grades to meet the felt need of strategic and commercial sectors. MIDHANI has now commenced providing its core competence of developing and manufacturing custom alloys tailor-made to suit the specific requirements of customers for their critical applications
