The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences was founded below the WBNUJS Act, 1999 followed by the West Bengal Legislature in 1999. Objective of NUJS is encourage legal knowledge and to make law and the legal procedure efficient instruments of social growth & encourage inter-disciplinary study of law in relation to management, technology, international cooperation and growth.
