Each and every year Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission carries on examinations for recruiting persons for various services of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, adding State, Subordinate and Ministerial Services. TNPSC conducts over 170 examinations for the recruitment in these services. Notifications for these examinations are released from time to time. The applicants have to follow all sorts of rules and regulations for these examinations. TNPSC carries on Combined Subordinate Services Examination –I (CSSE-I) for direct recruitment in a number of services below Tamil Nadu Government. The services are divided in two parts: One for which both Written and Oral Exams are conducted and one for which only written exams are carried on. Malda Division came into existence in 1984. Malda Division running by seven civil districts of three States. Railway Recruitment Board, Malda initially started as Railway Service Commission in 1984 and thereafter, it was named as Railway Recruitment Board, Malda in 1985. Railway Recruitment Board, Malda status to the demand of recruitment for Group C staff for some Divisions of Eastern Railway, South Eastern Railway, Northeast Frontier Railway and Production Unit i.e. Chitta Ranjan Locomotive Works.
