I completed graduation and planning to pursue higher studies from abroad for this decide to give the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Will you provide me TOEFL Writing section samples also provide list of topics covered so that I can prepare well for exam?


Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to enroll in English-speaking universities.

With the TOEFL Speaking section, you will have to answer a total of six questions.

Two of the questions are independent speaking tasks and four of the questions are integrated speaking tasks. In total, the speaking section lasts around twenty minutes

The TOEFL Writing section consists of two parts:

Integrated Writing, which includes reading, listening and then writing a summary/ comparison piece of 250 word in 20 minutes

Independent Writing, which involves writing a four to five-paragraph essay of 300-350 words in 30 minutes

By reading through the essays, you can learn how to:

develop any topic into a well-organized, logical answer
use synonyms to paraphrase the question
use a variety of sentence structures & grammatical forms
begin with a simple, strong introduction
create body paragraphs that flow logically
develop unity by linking the body paragraphs
end with a memorable conclusion

TOEFL Exam pattern:

Task Description Approximate time
Reading 3–5 passages, each containing 12–14 questions 60–80 minutes
Listening 6–9 passages, each containing 5–6 questions 60–90 minutes
Break Mandatory break 10 minutes
Speaking 6 tasks 20 minutes
Writing 2 tasks 50 minutes
