The Diploma in Social Work (DipSW) is presently the professional qualification for all social workers. The Diploma in Social Work course conducts a minimum of 2 years. Diploma in Social Work courses are available on full-time, part-time, open and distance learning routes and involve a combination of academic learning and practical learning in social care settings. DipSW offers in detail many social work case examples, daily skills and their use in practice. This Diploma course is a superior introduction to social work for various health care professionals. Diploma in Social Work course is desirable for all types of health professionals working within the various liking professions, social welfare, education, health, nursing, and various one to one- face to face counselling scenarios. All Diplomas in Social Work courses need applicants to have some relevant social work experience.

Eligibility
1. If you have a degree or hold a qualification which is considered to be equivalent to a degree
2. 2 A Levels and 3 GCSEs; or
3. 5 passes for the Scottish Certificate in Education including 3 at Higher Level; or
4. Any other educational, professional or vocational qualifications (e.g. NVQ/SVQ Level 3, GNVQ/GSVQ Level 3) considered by the GSCC to be equivalent.

  2. i am working for railways aged 33,passes 10th standard only and i am very much intrested in studying social welfare diploma through distance,is it possible..
    I try for regular also if not possible through distance..
