Doctors In Army Medical Corps::
Qualification
You have to passed a medical qualification of an Indian University or a foreign medical qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India.

You must be registered with any of the State Medical Councils or equivalent registering authority.
You must pass An antedate of 2 years seniority for post graduate degree and 1 year for post graduate diploma recognised by the MCI and 6 months for a house job, done at a recognised hospital is given to fresh entrants.

Age limit :
Permanent Commission –
Maximum age limit is 30 for MBBS graduates,
31 for Post graduate diploma holders
32 years for Post graduate degree holders as on 31 December of the calendar year of application.

Short Service Commission - Maximum age limit 45 years as on 31 December of the calendar year of application

Medical Fitness
Applicants must be medically fit as per prescribed standards for the Army

Standards of Height, Weight and Chest measurement:-
Height-Minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm relaxable to 1.52 cm in case of Gorkhas, Assamese, Garhwalis etc.

Weight –
Weight should be proportionate to the height for 157.5 on height,
Minimum weight should be 49.5 Kg.
For every additional 2.5 cm in height the weight should be on an average 1.5 Kg more.

Chest –
Chest should be well developed with a minimum range of expansion of 5 cm.

There should be no disease of the skin.
There should be no history or evidence of mental disease.
