My sister had filled the application form of the All India Institute of Medical Science MBBS entrance exam. She had no idea about the All India Institute of Medical Science MBBS entrance exam paper pattern. So can you please provide me its paper pattern?

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) Entrance Exam conducted by AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), New Delhi is a Computer based exam which consists of 200 multiple choice objective type questions. The question paper will be provided in either English or Hindi. Each correct answer will get 1 mark and 1/3 of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The period of the exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Mode of Exam
AIIMS MBBS exam will be conducted in online mode which is a computer based test.

Date of Exam
The exam of AIIMS MBBS 2017 is all set to be conducted on May 26 and May 27, 2018.

Session of Exam
AIIMS MBBS will be held in two different sessions which are morning session and afternoon session.
The Morning session will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon) and the Afternoon session will be organised from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Exam Language
AIIMS MBBS is an online test (computer based) so it will be conducted in English and Hindi language

Number of Questions
AIIMS MBBS question booklet will consist of 200 questions - 60 questions each for Physics, Chemistry and Biology section and rest 20 questions for General Knowledge and Aptitude & Logical Thinking sections each.

Questions Type
AIIMS MBBS exam will be based on multiple choice and reason-assertion. Every question will consist of 4 multiple choices where one must choose a most appropriate answer out of them all.

Marking Scheme
One will get 1 mark for each correct answer, while for every incorrect response it will have a negative marking of -1/3 marks for each.
No mark will be allotted for any unanswered question (no answer no mark).
