I visited Delhi and want to take medical facility from All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) searching for charges. Will you tell details about All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MRI charges and also provide details about Indoor patient facility?

The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education.

These institutes have been declared by an Act of Parliament as Institutes of National Importance.

MRI charges details:

MRI FACTILITY Private Ward Charges- Rs OPD & General Ward Charges- Rs
MRI-Plain Scan (One Part /organ single study) 3000 (Additional Rs.500/- for Film) 3000 (Additional Rs.500/- for Film)
MRI-Plain Scan-Each additional part/organ/studies eg. MRA,MRV,MRS(IN ADDITION TO PLAIN MRI SCAN COST) 1500 1500
MRI-Additional charges for contrast:upto 12 years of age 1000 1000
MRI-Additional charges for contrast: more than 12 yrs of age 2000 2000
MRI-Additional charges for high contrast MRI Scan using >20 ml of dye(like peripheral, Renal MRA etc). 3000 3000

AIIMS NDOOR SERVICES

Patients admitted in General Ward of AIIMS have to deposit bed charges in advance of 10 days at
the rates approved by Government time to time (currently Rs. 375). This entitles them for doctors
consultations, certain basic investigations, life saving medicines and surgical items, diet, linen, I.V.
fluids etc.
For allotment in Private Wards, after recommendation by the treating doctor, patient should contact
the Medical Superintendent Office. A waiting list is maintained and the private room is allotted as per
the witting list. The hospitalization charges of private room are as under:-
Deluxe (A Class) - Rs. 1700/- per day (Inclusive of doctors visit fee
Semi Deluxe (B Class) - Rs. 1100/- per day and routine investigation, diet etc.)

Private ward patients are charged additionally for specific investigations, procedures, operations etc.
