AIIMS PG 2017, Candidate Needs to Secure at Least 50 Percentile and the Merit List of the Category will be 8 Times the Number of the Available Seats for allotment.

Candidates will be given a call for the counselling according to the rank in the merit list.

Candidates Passed MBBS from AIIMS=25.25%
General + Sponsored/Foreign National candidates=25.25%
SC Candidates=15%
ST Candidates=7.5%
OBC Candidates=27%
Total=100%

AIIMS PG 2017 Counselling:

The counselling for the AIIMS PG 2017 will commence in three different rounds comprises of open selection.

Each of the category has the number of the candidates who are called to attend the counselling which will actually be eight time of the number of the seats.

The entire counselling will be completed based on the merit list.

Candidates can make the choice of subjects as per the seats availability.

If it is the case of absentee, the next candidate in the merit list will be considered as the valid choice.

AIIMS PG Application Form fees :

Application Fees of Rs 1000/-if you belong to general / OBC category and Rs 800/- if you belong to SC/ ST category online by Debit/ Credit card and offline by creating SBI Bank Challan.

Exam Pattern :

There are a total of 200 multiple choice objective type questions for MD/ MS program and 90 for MDS program.

This exam is Computer Based Test and the length of the exam is 3 hours for MD/ MS and 90 minutes for MDS program.

For each wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted in the test and 1 mark will be added for every correct answer.
