Recently I have taken admission in B.Com Course at Ambedkar University Delhi. Now I want to apply for Hostel. So will you provide information about Hostel rules by Ambedkar University Delhi?

The Ambedkar University Delhi was established in 2007.

The University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).

It offers a wide range of Educational Programs.

There are many hostels in the campus of University.

Here I am providing information about Hostel Rules of Ambedkar University Delhi:

The Constitution of the Hostel Committee is as given below:
(a) Sr.Warden Chairperson
(b) Warden
(c) Representative of IITD
(d) Representative of NIT(Delhi)
(e) Representative of CBPGECJ
(f) One senior Girl resident
(g) One senior Boy resident

Admission Criteria:
The Application Form is available at Hostel Office. You can get it on payment of Rs. 100/-.

You will filled the application form and submit it to Hostel Office before given last date.

Eligibility:
Students should be a full time bona-fide student of any of the following institutions:
(a) IIT, Delhi
(b) AUD
(c) CBPG Engineering College, Jaffarpur
(d) NIT (Delhi)

Students should be enrolled in a full-time course.

The hostel Complex will be managed by AUD.

Rooms will be allotted on the basis of the following criteria on order of preference as given below:
Students who are residents of states other than NCR of Delhi

Students who are residents of NCR of Delhi, but residing at a distance of more than 40 kms from the institution in which they are enrolled

Students who are residents of NCR of Delhi, but residing at a distance of 30-40 kms from the institution in which they are enrolled.

Seats will be allocated strictly on the basis of Merit in all given above categories.

Students should not be employed anywhere on full-time, part-time, ad-hoc or temporary basis.

Any student who fails to successfully complete the last semester or year shall have to surrender hostel accommodation immediately.

There will be no ragging in the Hostel. Ragging includes.
Mental, Physical sexual abuse
Verbal abuse
Use of force
Indecent behavior
Financial exploitation /Extortion
Criminal intimidation (Wrongful restraint)
