Associate Member of Institutions Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (AMIETE) is a graduate-level examination equivalent to a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programme.

The programme is recognized by the Government of India, Union Public Service Service Commission, the Ministry of Railways

The examination is conducted twice a year in June and December at various centers across India and a few places abroad.

The AMIETE examination is held in the following engineering streams:

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ET)
Computer Science and Engineering (CS)
Information Technology (IT)

AMIETE Eligibility Criteria

10+2 with Physics and Maths from a recognized institution

3 year Diploma course in either Engineering or Technology with Physics and Maths in 10+2 with work experience

Currently studying for higher education in Physics, Electrical, Electronics and/or Computer stream.

10+2 holders should not be less than 16 years of age and Diploma holders should not be less than 18 years of age.

Section A
Part - I 6 subjects (All compulsory)
Part - II 5 subjects (All compulsory)

Section B
Part - I 5 subjects (All compulsory)
Part - II 4 subjects (2 compulsory + 2 electives)
Project Work Compulsory
Seminar Compulsory
