Andhra Pradesh School Education Department conducts Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) cum Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for the posts of Teachers.

Eligibility Criteria

The Basic Qualification form the AP TET is one may Have
a Bachelor’s Degree t OR one of the three equal optional subjects and a B.Ed degree.


Examination Pattern :

General Knowledge and Current Affairs 10 MCQs 10 Marks
Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
Language I (Opted by the candidate) 35 MCQs 35 Marks
Language II (English) (Content & Methodology) 35 MCQs 35 Marks
Mathematics (Content & Methodology) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
Environmental Studies (Content & Methodology) 40 MCQs 40 Marks
Total 180 MCQs 180 Marks


Required Marks :

COMMUNITY Qualifying Marks
OC 60% marks and above
BC 50% marks and above
SC 40% marks and above
ST 40% marks and above
Differently ablled (PH) 40% marks and above
