Pune University is provides NCTE approved B. Ed degree. B. Ed is called Bachelor of Education in Pune University.

B.Ed course is one of the preferred under graduate programs of study offered by Pune University. The general objective of Pune University B.Ed course is to let student teachers understand and develop the capabilities and approach required for teaching.

This course is divided into two areas ie Theory and Practicum. Candidates are selected for Pune University B.Ed admission based on performance in written test and personal interview.

Duration:
The duration of Pune University B.Ed course is one year.

English and Marathi

Medium of Examination:
English and Marathi

Eligibility:
Candidates have Bachelor's degree/Master's degree of University of Pune or any other recognized university with at least 45 percent marks and should have been offered at least one school subject at first and second degree level as principal or subsidiary, allied or optional subject.

A relaxation of 5 percent marks will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST and other notified categories as per government rules.
