BHU RET is a university level entrance exam organized by Banaras Hindu University for granting admission to eligible candidates in various disciplines such as Ph.D, M.Phil etc.

Process to apply online:

1 First of all open official website link of University looks like:




2 Register yourself

3 Then select the course of your option.

4 After choosing the course application form will come into sight. Fill all the prescribed details accurately without any error.

5 After completely filling the application don’t forget to recheck the entered details to find any discrepancy. If accurate then press Confirm Button else change the information again.

6 Now, select the payment mode to pay the fee. You can make an online payment via Debit card, Net Banking, & ATM cum Debit Card.

7 You are requested to take the print out of the application form for additional references.

BHU RET 2016 examination Pattern

RET will comprise three components as listed below:-

Test A- Test to assess Logical and Analytical Capability
Test B- Test to assess Subject Knowledge
Test C – Research proposal and PI (Personal Interview)

End date for submission of application form: October 1, 2016
