International Students are required to submit English Test scores for admission in Blinn College

Students whose first/native language is not English (ESL), are required to take the TOEFL iBT Test, regardless of US education, or years of residence.

English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores required

Internet- based with a minimum score of 61; computer-based with a minimum score of 173; and paper-based with a minimum score of 500.

TOEFL may be required regardless of prior enrollment in U.S. high school or college

Internet-based (IBT): 61 or higher
Computer-based (CBT): 173 or higher
Paper-based (PBT): 500 or higher

Scores must be sent directly from ETS; student copies will not be accepted.

To have scores sent directly to Blinn use institution code 6043 (Code corresponds with Blinn College- Brenham.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

5.5 or higher

TOEFL results will not be considered if they are more than two years old when nursing application is submitted.
